​Jenna Shulman College Consulting is expanding rapidly and due to the company's growth, Jenna has hired other college consulting experts and assistants to help students reach their ultimate goals and dreams.

​They all work together and Jenna oversees them through the entire process. They always say, two heads are better than one!

JON SIBILIA (ASSOCIATE)

Jon Sibilia is a professional counselor who helps students and their families navigate the college application process. With nearly a decade of experience helping students research and apply to college Jon has a strong understanding of what makes a great application. Jon has worked as a school counselor at both private and public high schools in New Jersey and got his start in the industry after an internship with the office of undergraduate admissions at Montclair State University.

Jon is a licensed school counselor and a member of numerous professional organizations, including the National Association for College Admission Counseling, American School Counselor Association, and the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling.

Throughout his career, Jon has helped hundreds of students get accepted to top colleges around the country. He is well versed in helping students with IEP’s and 504 plans transition to 4-year schools, has presented at numerous workshops, and visits over 20 colleges a year.

Jon is a first generation college graduate and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Montclair State University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Jon can be reached at jon@jscollegeconsulting.com



ALLISON SCHACHTEL (ASSOCIATE)

Allie Schachtel is a high school counselor in New Jersey with over seven years of experience of working with students and families. Allie has provided guidance to hundreds of students as they navigate complex issues such as academic planning and preparing for college. Her strengths include helping students with the college search and application process and she enjoys creating relationships with admissions representatives and colleges as she has toured over 100 schools during her tenure.
​
She is passionate about helping students who are starting a new and exciting chapter in their lives. As a current school counselor, Allie is very strong in offering meaningful, practical advice for students and families, understanding what it is like in the school setting for these young adults and being able to work in tandem with their schools and families.

Allie received her undergraduate degree in Human Services from the University of Delaware and her Masters of Education in School Counseling from Rutgers University. Allie can be reached at

JESSICA SCHENKEL (ASSOCIATE)

Jessica Schenkel is an experienced school counselor and independent college consultant. Since 2014, Jess has worked with students from grades K-12 in New York City and New Jersey, in both public and private school settings. She has successfully helped a diverse range of students and their families navigate the admissions process, for students applying to independent day schools, boarding schools, and college. Jess's expertise is in interview prep, essay writing, and most importantly helping student's feel at ease through the entire process.

AMY CALZONE (ASSOCIATE & WRITING COACH)

Amy Calzone has been a NJ High School Educator for 11 years. She teaches English and AP Language at Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, NJ.  Full of energy, Amy thrives on helping students achieve their dreams! (And her record shows!) She has a knack for crafting college essays and is able to get her students unique personalities to shine through their sophisticated word choice and polished style!

Amy attended Seton Hall University as a Triple Major (Education, Special Education, and English!) and graduated in 2009. She earned her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey.

Her passions extend beyond the classroom and she has been directing and choreographing theatre throughout the country for over 15 years. As a dancer throughout her childhood and young adulthood, Amy's enthusiasm for the Arts continues to flourish in her career and personal life. She also has helped many students to pursue very successful careers in the performing arts. 


PAIGE SALTZBERG (ASSOCIATE)

Paige is a licensed school counselor who supports students through the college application and decision process to help them gain admission to many top colleges and universities. She also provides SAT prep tutoring and homework help to ensure her students succeed in their classes. Paige has seven years of experience working with high school students and has a strong passion for helping students manage the stress and frustration that comes naturally with the college admission process. She helps students bring out the best in themselves and showcase their strengths via their college applications. Paige is well versed in writing and editing college essays as well as supplements and helps students become stronger writers. She also helps students stay on top of deadlines and manage the various components of the college application process, so that students can feel just a little bit less overwhelmed, and a lot more organized. Paige is experienced in NCAA counseling and has helped many students get recruited to play sports at the collegiate level. A Chicago native, University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, former Barcelona study abroad student, Teacher’s College of Columbia University alum, and now current Bostonian, Paige has lived all over the map and calls many places home.

Paige is a member of the American School Counselor Association and the Massachusetts School Counselors Association. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. ​

SAMANTHA DEFINA (MARKETING ASSISTANT)

Sam is a recent Elon University graduate with a major in strategic communications. As a long-time family friend and former student of Jenna, Sam has been working with her part-time for the past two years in all marketing capacities including social media, newsletters, website design, and administrative tasks. Sam has a speciality in project management and content creation, and understands the value of accuracy, organization, and efficiency.

Sam loved her four years at Elon and even spent a semester in Florence, Italy during her junior year! The summer before senior year she interned at Tory Burch in New York City on the creative services team so she has some great corporate experience as well. Her one piece of advice for college is to go out of your comfort zone whether it involves meeting new people, joining different clubs, or going abroad. 


DIANE SHULMAN (ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT)

Diane works in close coordination with Jenna on a day-to-day basis. She is responsible for numerous administrative functions, such as preparing payroll, records for financial information, personnel and other data. Diane manages the processing of all accounts receivables and processes monthly reports. Diane assists colleagues whenever there is an opportunity to do so to ensure a well-run business. Jenna would truly be lost without her help and expertise!
